Is this an investment in the African American Solutions Fund?
No. This campaign supports the Coalition of Advocates’ charitable work. Gifts do not purchase shares, ownership interests, repayment rights, or investment returns in COACORP or the separate African American Solutions Fund.
How will my donation be used?
The existing checkout accepts general support for the Coalition’s charitable mission. The focus areas on this page describe the mission; selecting an amount does not restrict your gift to a specific program or nonprofit partner. Contact the Coalition before donating if you want to discuss a restricted gift. No specific allocation percentages or grants are promised here.
Can I receive a receipt for my tax records?
Yes. Keep your payment confirmation and request a charitable donation acknowledgment from the Coalition after giving. The team will verify the amount and date and state whether any goods or services were provided. Request an acknowledgment ↗. Deductibility depends on applicable law and your circumstances.
Does the $5 million investment crowdfunding limit apply here?
This is donation-based charitable fundraising, not a Regulation Crowdfunding securities offering. It does not use that offering’s $5 million cap. Charitable solicitation, reporting, donor restrictions, and other applicable requirements still apply.
Is my selected amount sent to checkout automatically?
No. Enter your selected gift amount again on the external payment page and verify the recipient, currency, and total before payment. Payment-provider limits and policies apply. This site does not offer recurring giving or display a live fundraising balance.
