The Coalition verifies completed gifts before issuing an acknowledgment. A checkout selection, pledge, or unverified amount is not proof of donation.
What does the acknowledgment include?
The Coalition’s acknowledgment should identify the organization, confirmed gift amount and date, and whether goods or services were provided in exchange. Where applicable, it should describe those benefits and give a good-faith estimate of their value. An acknowledgment does not guarantee your individual tax deduction.
